Jig concentrator is one of the main methods of gravity beneficiation.

Jigging is the process of using jigs for beneficiation. During the vertical opening and falling of the jig, materials are sorted primarily according to density differences in the variable-speed medium flow. Beneficiation results are affected by differences in particle size and shape. Jigging can be done with either water or air. Using water as a separation medium is called hydraulic jigging; using air as a separation medium is called wind jigging. Hydraulic jigs are used widely.

The process feature is: the selected ore is continuously fed to the sieve plate of the jig room to form a thick material layer. The rising water flow is periodically blown through the sieve plate to make the bed rise loose, and then the water flow drops (or stops rising). In this process, particles with different densities are relatively transferred, heavy minerals enter the lower layer, light minerals transfer to the upper layer, and the concentrate and tailings are obtained after being discharged separately.

Working principle
According to the different structure and water movement modes, hydraulic jig machines can be divided into the following five types: piston type; diaphragm type; no piston type; hydraulic agitation type; moving screen type.
The jig separator is suitable for processing coarse-grained ore. The upper limit of the particle size is 50mm, the lower limit is 0.2-0.074mm, and the best is 18-2mm. It is often used for coal preparation, tungsten, tin and gold ore, and it can also be used for iron, manganese ore, and certain non-metallic ores.

High recovery jigs models

AM30AM30 type is a large particle jig, mainly used for processing coarse iron ore.
JT1070-2Jt1070-2 type is a sawtooth wave jig, which is named because the pulsation curve produced by stirring water is a sawtooth wave type. It is mainly used for jigging gravity separation of various fine-grained minerals and has a very good beneficiation effect on fine-grained minerals.
LTA-1010/2LTA-1010/2 type is a single row double chamber down moving conical diaphragm jig, so it is also called double chamber jig, which has a very good beneficiation effect on 0-8mm minerals.
LTP34/2Ltp34/2 type is a small side-moving jig, widely used in river gold and iron sorting.
