Working Principle:
The kiln body of the metallurgical rotary kiln is made of steel plates and is lined with refractory materials. It is inclined at a specified angle relative to the horizontal line and supported by three tires on various support devices. A large gear ring is fixed on the kiln body cross-section near the feed end tire with tangential spring plates, and a small gear meshes with it. During normal operation, the main drive motor transfers power to the open gear drive assembly through the main reducer, driving the rotary kiln. The material enters the kiln for calcination from the kiln tail (the high end of the kiln body). Due to the inclination of the kiln body and the slow rotation, the material rolls along the circular direction and moves axially (from the high end to the low end), continuing to complete its process. Then, the mature clinker is discharged into the cooler through the kiln head hood. The fuel is injected into the kiln at the kiln head, and the flue gas produced by the combustion exits through the kiln tail.
